Hello, I’m Ashmita Mishra. I welcome you to Magenta Streaks. 

My journey has been quite exciting in terms of career and education. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and soon started prepping for MBA entrance exams. 

Back when I was preparing for some exams, there were times I was not too motivated to study. That was when I started helping my mom with some cooking and food preparation.

I would add some twists to her recipes, make them look good, and post photos of my recipes in my family group.

And soon, I realized that I was quite good with food photography, and my cooking skill was not too bad.

At that time, I was looking for freelance writing remote jobs for some additional money. But spend most of the time weeding through scam freelance websites. 

As I continued looking for some more and better online work, I discussed my dilemma with my husband about finding a legitimate freelance job with flexible work hours that paid well, and then he suggested that I should start a blog.

He told me to write everything about my freelance writing journey (more than a year now) and digitally journal my mom’s best recipes with images. 

I had always enjoyed writing and shooting recipes: however, I never considered blogging a full-time career option.

But, the magic happened.

Magenta Streaks was created!

To fund my blogging business, I started freelancing part-time. For more than a year, I researched trending blog ideas, wrote numerous content, and my husband helped me set up my website. In February of 2021, I launched Magenta Streaks to help Bloggers and freelancers who, like me, wanted to make money from home on their terms during the pandemic and lockdown situation.

And slowly able to build a loyal audience base.

I got an excellent online platform to showcase my experience and journey with my readers. You are one too!

I have dedicated sleepless nights and packed days to craft well-researched, up-to-date, and informative content for Magenta Streaks.

I may sound a bit selfish here, but I honestly did. I started learning about SEO and blogging and working like a Busy BEE.

And I’m really very PROUD of myself!
