What are Plantain Chips?

Plantains are the member of the banana family, these are starchier and lower in sugar. Generally, this is bigger than a banana and has thick skin and it can be consumed when it is still green.

Plantain chips are also known as Chifles or banana chips which are made from thin slices of green or yellow plantain that are baked, air fryer, or deep-fried until golden and crispy.

Then they are seasoned with salt, paprika, and dried herbs.
