Tips to Make Best Penne Rosa

  • Make it Vegan: Instead of regular heavy cream use vegan heavy cream and avoid adding parmesan cheese.
  • Protein-rich: though this recipe is vegetarian and still flavorful if you wish to add some protein, just go for it. Add sliced grilled chicken, shrimp would taste delicious in Penne Rosa pasta.
  • You can use store-bought marinara sauce or you can also make it at home.
  • Do not overcook the penne pasta. Try to cook the pasta al dente to avoid sticking when you add them to marinara. You can add a tablespoon of olive oil to the cooked pasta and it will prevent sticking them together.
  • Do not have penne pasta, you can still make this Penne rosa pasta with any shape of pasta. Whatever pasta you have in hand go grab and try this recipe.
